Additional Rules
** No editorial or commercial film or photography allowed without prior arrangements being made with host. **
Guest making the booking must be at least 25 years old and have a valid government I.D.
Quiet hours 9 PM – 9 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum at all other times. No parties or additional guests. No music outdoors.
Only guests included in the booking are permitted to enter the property.
Only two vehicles are allowed and can be parked on the parking deck per stay. No street parking whatsoever. Cars parked on the street will be towed at the guest’s expense.
Kindly remove shoes inside the house.
Please keep the patio furniture coverings attached to the patio furniture. The winds will blow the furniture coverings away if you detach them and a fee will be charged to the guest to replace these.
No pets. We love our furry friends, however, we do not allow any pets due to acute allergy and health reasons. (We have cameras outside and will know if they are snuck in). A $500 fine will be incurred if unauthorized pets are brought. Failure to disclose an animal on property is grounds for cancellation.
No third-party booking. Person booking must be a guest staying at the property.
5 guests max. Our county permit allows a maximum of 5 guests. Only the amount of guests listed on the reservation are allowed at the cabin at all times. There are outdoor security cameras to monitor this. Any violation of this rule will result in the host keeping your deposit and for you to leave immediately. We take the county’s short-term rental rules seriously and will enforce them with a Sheriff.
Check-in is after 4 PM and check-out is by 11 AM.
(Early check-ins and late check-outs are not possible since our team requires every minute to thoroughly clean the house and make sure nothing is missing for each guest.)
Our neighbors are full-time residents and are wonderful people. Please be respectful and mindful of noise during your stay.
Follow Hot Tub Rules posted next to the tub. (The hot tub is located on the front deck, tucked away below street level for privacy, as the back deck with views is unable to safely sustain the weight of a hot tub.)
Art and Decor: Our cabin has been lovingly and thoughtfully curated with decor and details from our personal collection. Please enjoy, but do not re-arrange the furniture, art, or decor. If there is something you love, please let us know! We will happily share the vendor/artist contact information with you!
Illegal drugs and firearms are strictly prohibited. If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs or firearms of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and guests will be asked to vacate immediately.
Road and weather conditions do not warrant exceptions to the cancellation policy. To that end, we recommend that you consider adding travel insurance during your payment process when booking the trip.
SLIP and FALL – This cabin is privately owned; hazardous conditions can occur, especially during the winter months. The owners or property managers are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur while on the premises.
The hosts/owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the risk of any unforeseen harm arising from their use of the premises.
The home is equipped with security cameras outside, and with decibel level sensors inside and outside.
We are committed to maintaining a peaceful environment for our guests and neighbors. During booking, we will send you a link to verify your details by uploading an ID and authorizing a refundable $350 security deposit. This must be completed within 48 hours of receiving the link. If this is not completed your booking may be canceled. The deposit will be returned based on the following:
a. No damage is done to the cabin or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. All items on the property including furnishings, decorations, and accessories belonging to the cabin are not lost or damaged. An inventory check is conducted after every check-out.
c. Used dishes, pots, and pans must be cleaned and properly put away.
d. No linens are lost or damaged.
e. No early check-in or late check-out without prior approval.
f. All our House Rules and Airbnb policies are followed.
